Thanks for this, however we have an issue.

Please retract this claim and give me an assurance that your company will never misrepresent the legislation this way again.

If you believe that you are within your rights to deny my request under the DPA then I will of course refer the matter to the Commissioner. I’m afraid I’ve had quite enough of organisations making such claims. On the other hand, if you are unable to delete my data for technical reasons please at least be clear with me on that point.
